December 10, 2007 – Twelve Ten Magazine
On December 10, Human Rights Day, the US Human Rights Network published the Twelve Ten Magazine with several articles on fighting the school to prison pipeline in Louisiana and Mississippi.  NESRI contributed an article on the human rights response to the incidents in Jena.

Thursday, September 20, 2007 - Rally and Town Hall Meeting in Louisiana
NESRI participated in the rally in Jena, LA and a town hall meeting in Alexandria, LA. The meeting featured a panel of experts entitled, "Restoring the Human Right to Education: Abolishing the School to Prison Pipeline." Speakers included:
