As a universal, equitable health care system is within reach for Vermonters, the Healthcare is a Human Right Campaign (run by the Vermont Workers’ Center) has released this short video sketch of Vermonters asking insurance companies to get out of the way.

On January 19, 2011, Dr. William Hsiao of Harvard University recommended in his report to the government that universal access to health care on an equal basis for all could only be achieved through public financing, without private insurance companies as middlemen.
