Gardner, can be found in Health and Human Rights, a Harvard University international journal.  The article explores the health and social impacts of post-Katrina redevelopment, with a focus on systemic violations of poor Black residents' human right to housing and the effects of these rights violations on community health trends.  It also highlights some of the local organizing in resistance to the destruction of communities and for the human rights to housing and health.
